Based in Torquay on Victoria’s Surf Coast, Pete Cromer is renowned for his use of colour and texture, all reflected in his bold collages, paintings and sculptures. Each colourful piece in the Pete Cromer collection is based on an original artwork, featuring a selection of Australian animals re-imagined in colourful collages.
Melbourne artist Nathan Ferlazzo is a passionate conservationist whose love of the natural world is evident in his intricate designs featuring flora and fauna. Drawn with a traditional nib and Indian ink, each piece in the Marini Ferlazzo for Maxwell & Williams collection features a study of nature, embellished with delicate foliage and flowers in Ferlazzo’s unmistakeable style.
Born in New Zealand, Gabby has called Australia home for the past 15 years. Gabby’s is known for her vivid watercolours and intricate floral illustrations, with many of her pieces bringing together both eastern and western references.
A long-time collaborator with Maxwell & Williams, Queensland artist Katherine Castle's love of wildlife shines through in her beautiful illustrations of fauna - in particular her many collections dedicated to Australian native species.
With exclusive access to the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria’s archives, Maxwell & Williams brings together the best of both historical and contemporary botanical illustration. Royalties from the sales from this collaboration assist the Gardens to advance the knowledge, conservation and enjoyment of plants for generations to come.
The RMIT Industry Partnership Awards have been an extremely rewarding collaboration for Maxwell & Williams. The process is an opportunity for us to sit down with young designers in a creative context and see their work evolving from energetic sketches and the beginnings of ideas to finished products, available in store.
